Jeremy

Jeremy wanted me to snap a few photos for his own personal archiving and we thought that night shots was the way for this particular shoot.

Jaime and David

On Saturday 25th, 2008. I covered Jaime and David's day of becoming one at the most beautiful and sunny day of Sonoma County, Santa Rosa. It was a fun filled day full of love and support from family and friends. On the way up to Sonoma, thank God that it wasn't too much traffic driving up, but I do feel sorry for the ones that were going south.

TrackRunners

This was during making of the TrackRunner's music video, "Hands Up," single. I was again invited by the band to document and take advantage of some scene shots for their archiving. It was an entire weekend of hustling and bustling of cameras, lights, camcorders, music, extras and good times. It was my first music video cover and was lucky enough to do my 5 second cameo... haha! That was cool.

Buddha Apparel

Anthony Sue, founder of Buddha Apparel, an East Bay born urban clothing line, invited me to cover their new season line. Set to hit the stores in the next couple of months. We took it to the streets of Oakland's Chinatown. This was a fun cover because the brand visualized with it's origin to China. A truly great location for it's concept. Brilliant Tony!

Jason and Randy

I never thought I would be covering a Gay couple's wedding, well not this soon anyway, but I guess things just happen to fall into place. I was really stoked when they had asked me to do it. Though it was a little unconventional in comparison to a typical wedding it went well. The ceremony was super fast and getting set up and knowing where to shoot seemed almost non-existent. Atleast I was able to grab the couple for a few shots prior to their reception at a bit more controlled environment before they had to go and meet with their guests.

After working on this, you begin to realize why wedding photographers, etc are costl. It's the craziness of the event and also working on the hundreds of photos taken that day it could take at least the same amount of time as post processing the photos as to when you are shooting the entire event. Really is pretty exhausting, so why do I do it if you may ask? I enjoy it! If I keep doing this, I hope to get better and find a good system when it comes to weddings, regardless of the situation. There is a lot of credit the needs to go to good and creative photographers out there and I plan to someday to be able to execute like a pro-wedding photographer one of these days.

TrackRunners

After having been working with the TrackRunners after a few covers. I decided to do a quick slideshow of our first shoot. I really enjoy working with these guys {Whiz and Rei.} They're an upcoming hip hop crew based in the Bay Area, Ca. The song that is playing on the slideshow below is one of their songs called, "Be Right Back."

These two guys are super down to earth and really relaxed. They seemed to be down to what poses I had for them and dealt with all of the lighting and held it strong. I just feel sorry for them that they might have bright white spots in their sight for the week after haha!
